Free Educational Training Program | Learn from the Professionals!

Sprinkler Fitters Local 696, and the New Jersey Fire Sprinkler Advisory Board are pleased to announce the 2020 training schedule. Attendees will receive 0.5 CEU’s from the NJ Division of Codes and Standards and the NJ Division of Fire Safety. 

These Sprinkler Fitters Local 696 sponsored programs include a continental breakfast, lunch, and hand-outs. Space is limited and classes fill quickly.  Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and class begins at 8:30 a.m.  For more information or to register please call (866) 226-6006, or email Frank Ellis at Ellis@nfsa.org.

These classes are complimentary only to signatory contractors of Sprinkler Fitters Union 696, firefighters, fire prevention specialists, fire inspectors, fire officials, fire sub-code officials, fire instructors and UCC enforcement personnel.

Seminar Description: This online seminar will review the various types of sprinklers, how the various types of sprinklers operate and where and when they should be used.

The seminar will cover the following:

  • Identify the various types of sprinklers
  • Identify the typical uses for the various types of sprinklers
  • Describe the various types of sprinkler systems, where they are typically used and why and the major differences among them.

 

This seminar is being held LIVE online.  Attendance is REQUIRED.  Any participant not in the online class within 30 minutes of the start time will be unenrolled.  No continuing education credits or refunds will be given for unenrollments.

 

This seminar is being sponsored by the NFSA New Jersey Chapter and the NFSA PenJerDel Chapter.
