Mission
The mission of the New Jersey Fire Sprinkler Advisory Board (NJFSAB) is to save lives and protect property by educating the public about fire safety, demonstrating the benefits and effectiveness of fire sprinklers in suppressing and reducing the impact of fires, and supporting fire-safe building codes and legislation. NJFSAB is a cooperative partnership advocating installation and proper care of fire sprinkler systems. Headquartered in Hamilton, NJ, the Board is comprised of unionized workers (Sprinkler Fitters Local 696), local leaders, code committee members, contractors and businesses who represent fire sprinkler construction, production, distribution and installation.
Meetings are on the second Tuesday of every month except December, June, July, and August at either Ristorante Venezia, 112 Main St. Woodbridge, NJ 07095, or IL Castello’s 81 Main Street Woodbridge Township, NJ.
Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 696
The Local 696 is dedicated to training and educating professional fire sprinkler installers. We work to provide contractors and end-users in the state of New Jersey with well-trained journeymen and apprentices that provide top-quality service and skill installing fire sprinkler systems in commercial, governmental, educational and residential properties.
